Company background

At this location in Sweden, flatpack houses have been manufactured since 1929. In May 1991 Tomoku Hus bought the factory from the prior owner Insjöhus. Tomoku Hus is 100% owned by Japanese companies, these companies are:

Leading manufacturers

We are one of the leading manufacturers of prefabricated wall components for timber houses in Sweden. Except from wall components, we are also producing our own windows and window doors. These products are made in our window factory, built in 2002. Today, most of our products are exported to Japan. Sweden House in Tokyo takes care of the sales to the Japanese customers.

Production capacity

Our capacity (one shift) is about 2500 houses and 45 000 windows and window doors per year.

Production volumes

The production volume in 2004 was 1899 houses and 30 200 windows and window doors. Our turnover is about 350 million Swedish Kronor (about 38 million EURO) and number of employees is 85 persons. The factory/warehouse has today a total area of 26 100 sq metres (280 840 sq foot).
